Summarises the U.S. labels for once-weekly injections, by calendar day. Wegovy tablets and other products have different rules. Your own instructions come first, and this is not medical advice.
What the labels say
| Medicine | Missed one dose |
|---|---|
| Ozempic | Take within 5 days. Later than that, skip it. |
| Wegovy | Take it if the next dose is more than 2 days away. If less, skip it. |
| Mounjaro | Take within 4 days (96 hours). Later than that, skip it. |
| Zepbound | Take within 4 days (96 hours). Later than that, skip it. |
Then carry on with your usual injection day. For Wegovy, missing 2 or more doses in a row means restarting at a lower dose, so call your prescriber.
