Common questions
What is the best way to track GLP-1 injections?
Write down the date, time, dose and injection site every time, and note how you feel afterwards. A GLP-1 tracker app like Reko keeps all of it in one record, with a body map so you can see which sites you used recently.
Which medicines can I track in Reko?
You choose the medicine you take, for example semaglutide (Ozempic, Wegovy) or tirzepatide (Mounjaro, Zepbound), and Reko also covers retatrutide, liraglutide and peptides. The full list has 55 compounds, each with its own units and a plain regulatory status.
Does Reko tell me what dose to take?
No. Reko records what you and whoever prescribed or supplied it decide. It is not medical advice.
Does it track injection sites and rotation?
Yes. A body map shows the sites you used recently.
Can it remind me when a dose is due?
Yes, and by default the reminder leaves your medication's name off the lock screen.
Can I track vials, pens and compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide?
Yes. Reko tracks vials and pens as a supply, counts down what is left as you log, and shows the clicks to dial on a pen. For a vial, the reconstitution calculator turns what is in the vial and the water you add into syringe units. See the GLP-1 vial tracker.
Can I track side effects next to my doses?
Yes. Pick a symptom from the suggestions or write your own, note how strong it was, and it appears on the same timeline as your doses. See GLP-1 side effects for what the labels and expert groups say.
What if I take a dose late?
Set the actual date and time you took it, and Reko keeps your schedule and record accurate. The missed dose guide shows what each U.S. label says about a missed Mounjaro, Zepbound, Ozempic or Wegovy dose.
Does Reko help me lose weight?
Reko does not promise weight loss or change what your medicine does. It records your doses, weight and how you feel, so you can see the pattern and bring it to your care team.
Does it work with Apple Health?
If you allow it, Reko reads weight, food, sleep and workouts from Apple Health so you type less. What it reads stays on your phone.
Where is my data?
On your iPhone. If you turn backup on, doses and notes are stored on servers in the EU. Cycle entries are never uploaded.
Is Reko free?
No. It is a paid subscription, and you can open every screen with an example record before you pay. The calculators on this site are free and need no sign-up. See is Reko free.
Is there an Android version?
Not yet. Reko runs on iPhone and iPad, with an Apple Watch complication and a home-screen widget.
