Why we made it
At Digital Utopia, we want to make as many people as possible able to afford and access health, including the technology that supports it. Staying on top of a medicine you inject once a week, or a peptide you mix yourself, is one place where good tools are still hard to find.
A record of your health should not be a puzzle. A tracker where the basics sit behind a paywall, the price is hidden until you have typed in your data, or a number can come out wrong, is not much help. So Reko starts with two free weeks, lets you open every screen with an example record before you pay, has no ads, and sells nothing about you. The calculators on this site are free and need no sign-up.
Reko is for keeping your own record in one private place: doses and injection sites, weight, side effects, food and water, sleep, labs and cycle tracking. It records what you and your prescriber decide. It never suggests a dose, so the decisions stay with you and your care team.
Three principles
Correct numbers
A dose that is off by a factor of ten or a thousand is worse than a blank. So Reko uses one number reader across the app, shows you anything it read from a photo or a file before saving it, and warns when a draw would fall between syringe marks. Where it must choose between skipping a value and guessing, it skips.
Private
You do not need an account. Your record stays on your iPhone unless you turn on backup, which stores data in the EU. Anything read from Apple Health stays on the phone, and cycle entries are never uploaded. Reko asks once whether it may count which screens are opened and receive crash reports. It is off unless you say yes, and it never includes what you take.
Independent
Reko is funded by its subscribers. No pharmaceutical company pays us, there are no ads, and nothing about you is sold. Reko recommends no product and sells none.
