In short
Reko 1.0 is available on iPhone and iPad (iOS 18 or later), with an Apple Watch complication and a widget. It records what you decide. It never suggests a dose and it is not medical advice. No account is needed. Your data stays on your iPhone unless you turn on backup. It is a paid subscription, yearly or monthly.
Announced October 2026.
Why we made it
People who take injectable medication keep records in notes apps, photos and spreadsheets. It works until the day it does not. A dose is missed, a vial runs low sooner than expected, or a doctor asks what happened last month and nobody can say.
Reko is built for that moment. It keeps one tidy record, and it keeps it where you can trust it.
The idea is simple. You and your prescriber decide what you take. Reko is the notebook that remembers it: what you took, when, from which vial, and how you felt afterwards. It does not guess, it does not coach, and it does not compare you with anyone else.
What is in version 1.0
Doses and schedules
Log the amount, the time and the injection site on a body map. Set a schedule: weekly, daily, titration steps, or on/off cycles. Any dose on any date can be corrected later. By default, reminders leave out the medication's name, so a lock screen stays private.
Vials and calculators
The reconstitution calculator shows what to draw for the dose you chose, and warns when a draw falls between syringe markings. Each vial shows what is left as you log. A pen calculator helps with click counting. Read more about vial tracking.
Side effects and weight
Symptoms sit beside doses, so you can see what happened and when. Weight over time is kept with them. How side effect tracking works.
Compounds, levels and labs
55 compounds are included, each with its own units and a plain note on its regulatory status. An estimated level is drawn from your own doses and the compound's published half-lives. It is an estimate, not a blood test. Lab results can be scanned from a printed report with the camera, and every value is checked by you before it is saved.
Everyday health
Protein, water and food against targets you set. Sleep, fasting and training. Apple Health import, which stays on the phone. Cycle tracking, including irregular cycles and hormonal contraception, which is never uploaded.
Your data, your file
Export everything as a file, or doses as a spreadsheet. Backup is optional and uses servers in Frankfurt.
The full file restores into Reko exactly as it left, and the spreadsheet opens in Numbers or Excel. Both work offline and need no account. Reko can also import a Reko backup or a CSV file exported from another app. It shows you what it found and lets you check it before anything is saved, and entries you already have are skipped rather than duplicated. Dates and decimal marks differ between countries, so if a date or a dose looks wrong in that preview, cancel and do not import. Export is part of the subscription, so it works while you are subscribed. More about the file formats is in what is included in Reko.
Privacy in practice
Reko works with no account at all. Everything you record stays on your iPhone unless you turn on backup. Turning it on means signing in with Apple. There is no password, and you can choose to hide your email address from us. The records are then stored on servers in the EU.
Backup is a choice, and it is worth making on purpose. Without it, losing or replacing your phone means losing your history. With it, a new phone can pick up where the old one stopped.
Some things never leave the phone through Reko. Cycle entries are never uploaded, even when backup is on, and neither is anything Reko reads from Apple Health. Your phone's own iCloud or computer backup includes app data, as it does for every app. That backup is between you and Apple, and Reko cannot read it.
Reminders are scheduled by your phone and leave out the medication's name by default. They say when a dose is due and how much. If you prefer to see the name, there is an optional setting for it. For the wider picture, read privacy rules every GLP-1 user should know.
Price
Reko is a paid subscription, yearly or monthly. Both plans unlock the whole app, and there are no tiers and no ads. Apple handles the payment, so you manage or cancel the subscription in your Apple account settings, at least 24 hours before the period ends. Before you pay, you can open every screen with an example record. If you want the full detail, Is Reko free? answers it directly.
What it is not
Reko does not diagnose, treat or advise. Talk to your prescriber about your medication and your dose. Reko only helps you remember and show what you did.
It has no AI assistant, no community, and no web or Android app. The estimated level is a calculation from published half-lives, so treat it as the shape of your own cycle and not as a measurement of your blood. The calculators turn your numbers into syringe units or clicks, and every result should be checked against your prescriber's instructions and your label.
